Yosemite Park...Not THAT One...

Welcome to Yosemite park!!
This is our local park. Sheelah loves to play ball here and thinks it is her private yard.

We brought a kite and it was so windy that the sky ate it.

The playground is well played but fun and Aria loves climbing all over it.

There is lots of room for Sheelah to run and frisbees to fly.

Shasta Park...

The Art Rocha Playground is in Shasta Park. Art's friends and family must have loved him a bunch to build a playground with his name on it.

Shasta Park has really steep sides because it is a flood control park.
In my town a lot of the parks are shaped like bowls and the rain drains to them to keep us from flooding.

This is the drain in the middle of the park. It drains to the river so don't dump bad stuff in it.
The Playground is really cool and has a rope jungle gym that looks like a Space Spider Web.

Aria's shoes kept coming off but she had so much fun she didn't notice.
Look dad! Look!
This is the first time I saw a swing like this. It's like a sofa!
Dad liked it and read his Kindle while we played.
Ari liked the little kid side of the playground most and dad liked how close it was to the big kids side.
I liked the spiderweb the best but didn't like there wasn't a bathroom.
Dad liked the swing sofa and Aria was happy to be running.

Our First Park...

We found this park looking at model homes. We were surprised to find that it didn't have a name yet.

What I liked best: The slides were really fun!
Didn't like: There was no bathroom.

Dad liked: Discovering a park without a name.
Dad disliked: The little kids side was VERY far from the big kids side making it hard for the girlies to play seperately.

Ari cried when it was time to leave.

Hello World...

My name is Ali and I am starting a project with my dad. We are going to visit all of the parks in my city.
I live in Manteca and we have about 30 parks.
We will play in and rate each of the parks and maybe more...!
